Whole-home cleanouts & consignment Β· within 15 miles of Albany, NY (12211)
We clear the whole house β and pay you for what sells.
Most cleanout crews hand you a bill and take everything to the dump β including the things that were worth money. We sort first, sell what has real resale value, and send you the proceeds. You get an empty room and a check.
Free, no-pressure walkthrough
We look at the space, tell you honestly what's sellable and what isn't, and quote before anything moves.
You keep the upside
Anything with resale value gets photographed, researched against real sold prices, and listed. You get a share of every sale.
The room ends up empty
Donations documented for your taxes, recycling separated, the rest hauled. Broom-swept when we leave.
Why this is different
Junk haulers charge you. Consignment shops make you do the hauling.
We're the middle option that mostly doesn't exist: one crew that empties the space and handles the selling β so the valuable things don't quietly end up in a dumpster just because sorting them was too much work.
| Junk removal | Consignment shop | Estate sale | Save Your Time | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Empties the space | Yes | No | Partly | Yes β completely |
| You get paid | No β you pay | Yes, on what they accept | Yes, minus fees | Yes, on everything that sells |
| Who does the work | Them | You haul it in | Strangers in your home | Us, start to finish |
| Good for a full house | Yes | No | Yes, if it's high-value | Yes β that's the specialty |
How it works
Four steps, and you only have to be there for the first one.
-
Walkthrough
We come look β free, no obligation. We tell you what we think will sell, what's donation, and what's genuinely trash. You get the quote in writing before we start.
-
Sort & clear
We separate the space into sell / donate / recycle / haul, and empty it. Anything you want to keep gets set aside first β nothing sellable leaves without your OK.
-
List & sell
Sellable items are photographed and priced against what comparable items have actually sold for β not wishful asking prices β then listed on the marketplaces where that category moves fastest.
-
You get paid
You get an itemized report of what sold and for how much, and your share. Donation receipts come to you documented for your taxes.
Who we do this for
Usually it's a hard week, not a fun project.
We're often called for
- Estates β a parent's home, a lifetime of belongings, and siblings who live out of state.
- Downsizing β moving to somewhere smaller and needing 40 years to fit into 12.
- Moves on a deadline β closing is in two weeks and the garage is still full.
- Rentals & turnovers β a tenant left it all behind and you need it rent-ready.
- Justβ¦ the garage β one room, one basement, one storage unit.
How we try to show up
- We move at your pace and don't rush you through decisions about your family's things.
- We tell you the truth about value β including when something you hoped was worth a lot isn't.
- We don't touch anything you've set aside, ever.
- We leave the space clean, not "mostly clean."
What's usually worth money
You'd be surprised what's still worth something β and what isn't.
- Tools, yard equipment, and anything with a motor
- Solid-wood and mid-century furniture
- Appliances that still run
- Sporting goods, bikes, camping and fishing gear
- Musical instruments and audio equipment
- Jewelry, coins, watches, and collectibles
- Vintage kitchenware, cast iron, and glassware
- Big-box particleboard furniture
- Mattresses, box springs, and upholstered seating
- Most encyclopedias, textbooks, and paperbacks
- Older large TVs and dead electronics
- Most china sets and figurine collections
- Anything damaged, unsafe, or missing parts
We'll tell you which pile your things fall into at the walkthrough β before you've paid us anything.
